The Market

Robert Parker who has been deemed as the most influential critic of the French wine world today has rated this Latour 1998 a staggering 91 points out of a possible 100 stating that:

“The 98 is a refined, elegant offering with a dark red ruby colour, sweet cassis fruit, surprisingly soft tannin and a good finish. There is firmness and muscle in the background, it is very pure. With the vineyard’s mineral/black fruit character presented in a medium-weight format. Anticipated maturity between 2007 and 2025.”

Here Parker is saying that the wine is ready to be consumed for optimal tasting and this could be a good short term investment for possible results to be seen over the next two to three years.

Clive Coates another influential wine critic also stated that this would be a great wine for investment which will infinitely be more appreciated with age.

We highly recommend this vintage Latour 1998 for your portfolio. It will stand you in good stead over the next few years, you can sell in three years or keep for more than ten years, depending on your strategy.  Place your order and increase your portfolios fine wine potential.
