Wine Recommendation – Château Lafite Rothschild 1998

It has taken us several months to successfully discover Chateaux Lafite 98 stock at this great price, and finally we successfully managed to secure a wonderful parcel of this fantastic investment wine.

This first growth wine from Bordeaux, France was found in a large private cellar in London. Stored in excellent condition they were found in their original wooden cases with all labels in perfect condition. This vintage 1998 is now waiting in our London city bonded warehouse for whoever is quick enough to secure this stock.

Wine Recommendation for December 2006

Robert Parker, the expert in fine wine, scored this wine with an extremely high rating of 98 points out of a 100. The ratings he gives always have a profound effect on the overall price.

Decanter Magazine gave the wine a four star rating and stated that it has ‘a bold richly structured palette and is beautiful.’

We are offering this first growth class, red bordeaux wine in a case of twelve for £3190 which equates to just £265 per bottle. This wine is currently in high demand and merchants are commanding prices over what you can buy it for today from Sure Holdings.

The Market

Château Lafite needs at least five but preferably ten years to mature before drinking to allow for an optimal and enjoyably tasting fine wine. The wine will be ready to drink in two years and should last for a further fifty years like many of its previous vintages have done time and time again. Each year we will see the wine get better in taste and overall quality.

This wine will make for a great short-term investment of 2 years due to its exclusivity. Our researchers expect to see returns on this investment within the next 1-2 years. However the longer you hold onto this wine, the more the price should continue to rise.

A 1982 bottle of Château Lafite when first released was priced at less than £100 per case. Today that price is now a whopping £12,000. This shows the potential for returns with this type of wine if you are willing to keep it over the long haul.

We are anticipating this wine to go up over the course of the next few years and we should be able to see some growth over the next twelve months. However we recommend keeping this wine for at least three years to give it the best chances of return, our opinion is a potential return of over 40% throughout this period.

Hurry now to secure one of the best investment wines in the market today!  Do not deny your fine wine portfolio an absolute monster of a wine.
