Wine Recommendation – Château Lafite Rothschild Vintage 2004

Wine Recommendation – Château Lafite Rothschild Vintage 2004

After several months of patience and endless searching, we are happy to say that we have just managed to get our hands on this fantastic investment wine!

Wine Recommendation for September 2007

The Château Lafite Rothschild has been around since 1695 where grapes are hand picked, then transferred to Oak barrels before being left to mature for 2 years and only then bottled.

This vintage investment wine will take at least another five years to mature before it is even considered ready for drinking and will keep getting better year after year. This means that it is the perfect time to buy this wine for an solid wine investment and lay it down for the future.

The Market

The Lafite Rothschild is scarce in the market because traders are selling cases of this wine more than the market value as they know it is in high demand with fine wine investors. We have seen people offering to sell it for over 3500 pounds.

We are offering this first growth classed wine for £3150 per case of 12 bottles or £265 per bottle. Originally from Bordeaux in France, this vintage of Lafite Rothschild comes in its original wooden cases and labels all in pristine condition. They’re sitting in our London city bonded warehouse for an investor. Will you be quick enough to secure this recommendation before it is all gone?

Robert Parker, the man whos words move prices in the world of fine wine, scored this wine a superb 98 out of 100. His score always influences the overall price a bottle of wine sells for. This type of rating is considered a blockbuster rating. Usually ratings between 98-100 are considered as blockbusters.

Due to Chateau Lafite exclusivity and demand, we are hoping to see returns on this investment in as less than 12 months which is very rare for wine investment. Of course you should still look to keep this for a three year term to give yourself the best potential for returns.  As it is becoming harder to source, the price should continue to rise. If you keep this wine for three years (which is our recommended investment timeframe) then you could see a return of over 20% per year.

A 1982 bottle Chateau Lafite is priced today at 11,000 Pounds and which was purchased for less than a few hundred pounds when first released. This shows the potential for returns for this type of wine.

Unfortunately we do not have many cases available so please do not delay and contact us now with your order.  This buy recommendation will be a great addition to your portfolio.
