Wine Recommendation – Chateaux Lafite Rothschild 2004

Wine Recommendation – Chateaux Lafite Rothschild 2004

It has taken us a while, but we finally did it, we manage to secure a number of cases of the prestigious investment wine Chateaux Lafite Rothschild at a fantastic price!

The stock was found in a large private cellar in London through a private collector who wished to remain anonymous. The wine has been stored in excellent conditions; still in their original wooden cases with perfect labeling, this wine currently sits in bonded storage in London waiting for investors names to claim it. Time is of the essence so be sure to secure your allocation now because it should not be on offer for very long.

Wine Recommendation for December 2007

This is a first growth wine from Bordeaux, France and is considered as a Premier growth class. This wine will take at least another five years to mature before it is even considered ready for drinking, meaning this is the perfect time to buy and hold this investment for several years to watch it grow and see a handsome return on investment in a period of 3-5 years from now.

The Lafite Rothschild should last for a further fifty years and will keep getting better as it nears closer to maturity. This is Lafite Rothschild is scarce to find in good quantities on the market, some merchants are selling it higher than the market value as they know it’s in demand among investors and the longer they wait to sell the better a price they expect to command for it. We are offering each case at a very low price of £2850.

The Marketplace

Robert Parker scored this fine claret with 95/100, he loves this Lafite Rothschild vintage 2004 and has tasted it officially three times. In his last tasting he said “it’s one of the better wines of the vintage which is elegantly styled.”

Wine Spectator rated this Lafite 2004 with 94 points out of 100 and Decanter Magazine gave it a superb five star rating.

Chateaux Lafite needs at least five to ten years before being endured. Drinking any earlier and it would be considered a waste of a wine. The 2004 will be ready for drinking in 2010. But the longer you can hold onto the wine the better, as it will mature well over a long period of time due to its concentration and quality.

We are anticipating this wine to go up over the course of the next few years and growth should be seen over the next twelve months. Our recommendation is to keep this wine for the time frame of three years and we anticipate a potential return in excess of 40% over that period. Our last recommendation for Lafite Rothschild which was a vintage 1996 returned 49% in less than a year but we do not want to be overly optimistic.

The vintage 2000 Lafite Rothschild is selling today at £7000 a case. That’s £4850 more than it was in 2004.  Surrounding Vintages like 2003 Lafite Rothschild are trading for £7000 and the 2005 Lafite Rothschild is going for £6000 a case. We can only begin to imagine what profits could be made on the Chateaux Lafite Rothschild 2004. It is truly a wonderful investment wine which will give you good standing in your wine portfolio.  Do not hesitate to secure your position in this top investment wine for December.  This month it is expected consumption to be on the high side due to the festive period ahead of us.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Sure Holdings!
