The Vintage is 2004 and these wines are in their Original Wooden Cases.
The Wines are in beautiful condition, the fill levels are well into the neck and the labels are in perfect condition. We can offer this vintage wine to you for 12 bottles at 1650 Pounds per Case.
This wine is often difficult to source and our management are being extremely particular about pricing of wines we buy in the market. The market this year is having a tremendous run, however this is no reason to simply buy at whatever price we can just to obtain the stock. It took us a while to find at this price although it was going up in value over the last few months. It has been sourced from a private investor in Europe who wanted to liquidate quickly hence his release of the wine at a low price. It’s a good opportunity for you to get involved and make a fantastic investment.
One of the key factors for determining this wines potential for return on investment is the fact that its price is Low its lower than any other first growth we have offered to our clients this year. The market price we are selling at is below the asking price on the market by around 50 pounds a case currently.
Let me tell you briefly about this wine, its from the 1855 Classification, is a Full Bodied Red Wine and there are bottles of Mouton Rothschild being drank that are more than a 100 years old. It’s a First Growth or Premier Cru wine from the region of Pauillac in Bordeaux. Pauillac is famous for many first growth wines.

In terms of what the critics are saying about this wine. Well, there is not a single bad word to be said about this Mouton 2004. The critics are giving it the thumbs up all round. The ratings have not been as high as we are used to for a premier cru but this wine is still very very young. It needs ten years before it’s even going to be mature and ready for drinking. This gives us plenty of time for higher ratings to appear and this is one of the reasons this looks like an absolute bargain.
What are the Experts saying?
Robert Parker says he doesn’t really like the painting on the front of the label. The label was a painting by Britain’s Prince Charles. Perhaps Parker was more tasteful to Lady Diana than of Charles. Comments from Parker about the wine did make up for his comments on the label, he referred to the wine as a Powerful Classic. He awarded the Mouton 2004 with a good rating of 92 Points and this could be rated higher as time goes by and he continues to taste this exquisite wine.
Anticipated Returns
From an investment perspective trading at 1650 Pounds a case is extremely low for a first growth at the moment. We are hope it can achieve a return of 15% per annum over a three year investment period. You will however be buying the wine much lower than the current Ask price.

To compare this Mouton 04 to another typical vintage, if you look at the price of the 1966 Vintage which Robert Parker has compared this wine to. The 1966 Mouton is on the market today for around 5000 Pounds a case. When it was first released back in 1966 it was less than 100 pounds a case. That’s a huge increase of 4900 %.
