This is the original Chateau Margaux produced in the region of Margaux in Bordeaux. The Château Margaux vintage 1998 is more affordable than other vintage wines on the market, making it a favourite for new connoisseurs and therefore more likely to become a scarce.

The Market

Wine critics are saying some great things about the Château Margaux 1998! Robert Parker has said this wine is ‘elegant, rich, nicely textured and is built for the long haul.’ He then rated the wine 91 points out of 100 with a huge ‘two thumbs up’. Neal Martin awarded this wine a massive 94 points and went on to say; ‘it may need considerable ageing to reach its plateau.’
