Wine Recommendation – Châteaux Lafite Rothschild Vintage 1998
Late last night, we managed to secure an amazing parcel of Châteaux Lafite Rothschild Vintage 1998 at a tremendous low price. Located within a French wine cellar, we found this wine to be stored in superb conditions. The vintage is still in their original wooden cases, with perfect labeling.
Just this morning we released the recommendation to our client base, they saw the potential within the wine and soon our forty-five cases dropped down to just ten! We are selling each of the ten cases left at just 4360 euros.
Wine Recommendation for February 2009
This will make an incredible investment short term and long term as it is so exclusive. The wine is going into its 11th year and is getting close to its prime drinking years. It is said to mature for another fifty years.
We expect to see returns on this investment within the next six months as the market dropped late last year and this price we sured is based at the lowest price in the market. Merchants are selling it for double the price we have enlisted.
The Market
Robert Parker a renown wine critic scored this Lafite with 98 points out of 100. Similar rated Château Lafite wines, such as the 1986 Lafite, are trading at £8000 a case. This shows the potential for returns on this type of wine.
Neal Martin another famous wine expert said the Lafite 98 is a “top quality wine for its vintage” and gave it 96 points. Decanter Magazine gave the wine a four star rating and stated it “is a beautiful fine wine.” Both of which are saying Châteaux Lafite is the wine of the vintage.
We are anticipating this wine to go up over the course of the next few years and we should be able to see some growth over the next twelve months. We recommend to keep this wine for three years to see an investment return of over 35% per year.
