Wine Recommendation – Château Haut Brion 2001

Wine Recommendation – Château Haut Brion 2001

Good afternoon all! We hope you are having a fantastic day, because we sure are! We have just managed to secure our third fine wine recommendation of 2009!

The wine is Château Haut Brion and the year is 2001. The wine is now eight years old and is in optimum opportunity for return on investment over the upcoming years. This wonderful first growth wine is said to be ready to drink in 2010, so this could be a tremendous opportunity for short-term investment.

Wine Recommendation for March 2009

We have had a lot of curiosity and awaited anticipation over our wine recommendation of March. However we unfortunately only have forty-five cases of this wine available. We know it will be in high demand, therefore we have gone ‘old school’ and decided to implement the ‘first come first served’ rule.

We sourced the stock from an extremely reputed London fine wine merchant who has been in the business for over fifty years. They are a part of a very secure network and have had the wine since it was bottled in Château Haut Brion. This excellent storage history is what we call full provenance, meaning the bottles have been kept in perfect condition.

These parcels of wine have been thoroughly checked and approved by our team in Europe. Each come complete in their original wooden case and labeling. We are selling each case of 12 bottles for just £1600. This is a fantastic offer for such a superb wine.

The Market

The great thing about Haut Brion is that it’s more affordable that most wines. This means that it is more likely to be consumed by connoisseurs who may not want to pay the full price for blockbuster vintages.

Robert Parker, the guru of the fine wine market, highly recommends the Haut Brion 2001 and has awarded the wine 94 points out of 100. Neal Martin another famous critic rated this wine 96 points and stated that ‘the wine needs aging to reach its plateau’.

The Sure Holdings experts anticipate growth on this wine to be around 35% per annum due to its price correction in the last six months. If you look in the market at other merchants, you can see other companies are selling it for as much as £1800 a case. With our price being less than market value for just £1600 per case, we are limiting any potential downside!

If you have any stocks or shares that are down at the moment, we suggest that you should consider moving them into this parcel of Haut Brion because it should give your portfolio that boost it needs.
