Wine Recommendation – Chateau Mouton Rothschild 2003

We have some excellent news for you! We have a superior French Bordeaux fine wine investment ready for our recommendation to you.

The wine is Chateau Mouton Rothschild and the vintage is 2003. This parcel is in beautiful condition, the fill levels are well into the neck and the labels are all in good condition. Packed in their original wooden cases, this stock is currently being held in our bonded account.

Wine Recommendation for March 2009

We only managed to secure a tiny parcel which unfortunately limits the number of cases we can offer you, therefore we can only offer two cases per client. Each twelve bottled case is priced at £2050.

The Chateau Mouton Rothschild is a first class or premier cru wine from the region of Pauillac, Bordeaux. Pauillac is one of the most highly reputed areas where several first growth wines have been made. This Mouton is a full bodied red wine which comes from the 1855 classification. Our team of experts have seen vintages of Mouton Rothschild being drank over 100 years old.

The Marketplace

The ratings on this wine have been extraordinary! Robert Parker, who is says it how it is and renown as a highly acclaimed wine critic world wide, said this wine ‘reminds him of the 1982 Mouton Rothschild.’

If you were to try and buy a case of Mouton Rothschild 1982 in the market today, it will cost you over £8000, this was sold at less than £500 a case when released in 1982, an increase of 1200%.

Robert Parker has rated this wine 95/100. He believes this wine will stay beautiful in the bottle and keep maturing well up until 2040. He stated that people should not open this wine until 2012.

Neal Martin, another famous wine critic, tasted the Mouton 2003 in 2004 and said it was ‘well balanced with an attractive finish.’ He scored the wine 94 points out of 100.

From an investment perspective, trading at £2050 a case is very cheap for a first growth at the moment. Our team of experts are anticipating a return of over 35% for a three year investment period. However based on the current track record of first growths in the market today, there is a lot more potential for this wine to do even better!
