Ace of Spades Champagne BUY Recommendation
My apologies for such a long silence on recommendations recently. Sometimes it pays off to be patient when making the right investment decision. Especially when it comes to fine wine investment because price is always key. This recommendation was worth the wait, it should be no stranger to you as I have recommended this Champagne before. This Champagne is from Armand de Brignac, it is originally owned by the Cattier family and is big with the stars in Hollywood because of its glamorous gold bottle and pewter label. It is such a hit with the stars that the press announced in November 2014 that the famous pop star and business entrepreneur Jay Z (Husband of pop star Beyonce) has acquired a stake in the Champagne house. The details of the deal were not fully disclosed but we expect that when the full details of this partnership are released we anticipate a jump in the price. With this amazing piece of price sensitive information I firmly believe that this is a great wine investment to hold on to for the next 3-5 years with a great potential for return on investment.
It is currently showing 1800 GBP/Case on our bid price which means if you picked it up in my first recommendation you should see a 10% growth against your original purchase price.

My recommendation for this Champagne is to buy now and hold for the long term, at least 4-5 years. If the news regarding Jay Z buying a stake in Ace of Spades produces a spike in the price I would advise you to sell your initial holding and keep this position for the long term. Jay Z is a very good businessman, he is one of the entrepreneurs of the hip hop world and he is a very astute business man when it comes to making the right investment. The wine market has picked up this January and it looks like there is a wave of activity, this is a very good sign to the start of the year and a signal that the Bordeaux market is picking up again. Try to buy what you can now before the prices escalate.
