May 2017 Wine Investment Report

As promised we are now conducting valuations at the end of each month. You can check your portfolio on the 2nd of every month for price changes.

We saw a steady ship this month and several wines showed good performance. In general there were very few wines that dropped this month. There is still continued strength in this buyers market.

Our valuations which encompass all of our recommendations to you, showed a positive gain with Bordeaux wines up 0.41% versus the Rhone Valley and Champagne market which was had little change with an increase of 0.1%.

32% of the wines valued showed a positive return, while 16% showed a negative and 51% remained the same. 82% are made up of Bordeaux while 18% are made up of Champagne and Rhone Valley.

The overall gain for ALL the wines valued this month was an increase of 0.38% – See below those winners and losers for May versus April.
