Appended below are the five top gainers and five bottom movers based on our wine valuations for the month.  Prices are taken from over 100 wines, which we are tracking and evaluating on a monthly basis. These wines are all our recommendations over the last fifteen years.

The figures for February 

This month’s valuations showed a slight decline for the Champagne and Rhone Valley wines DOWN -0.18% and for the Bordeaux market which was UP 0.17% for the month.
 –   26% of the wines valued showed a positive return, while 18% showed a negative and 56% remained the same.  82% are made up of Bordeaux while 18% are made up of Champagne and Rhone Valley.
–    The overall gain for ALL the wines valued this month was an increase of +0.14%

Château Haut Brion 2005 has increased at 30.1% since we recommended it to you as a buy in February 2013. A wonderful investment wine from First Growth wines of 1855 Classification.
Chateaux Mouton Rothschild 2003, First Growth, has grown 34.2% since our recommendation last March 2016.
