The fine wine investment market has been very active and is doing very well. Sales and values of strong vintages remain buoyant.
We hit 8% for the year in growth for our valuations, our wine investment fund is doing even better.
There are a lot of investors seeking top quality vintages at the right price. With both buyers & sellers activity. the wine investment market is consistently performing as a healthy & vibrant market.
I recently visited Bordeaux, with a trip to both our warehouses in the UK & France
My recent trip to Bordeaux was quite spectacular. But every time I visit Bordeaux it is a visit to remember. I visited a total of 8 first and second growth Chateaux in the Bordeaux region.
What inspires me is how these Chateaux maintain themselves consistently at the top of their game. it is truly one of the best places in the world to visit. You can smell the history in every property dating back to the 15th century and some even earlier. I never get bored!
There were 3 key topics that i took away from this trip.
We continued discussions on creating Crypto NFTs for cases and bottles of fine wine. A venture we have ongoing with BoozCoin.com – It’s exciting to be at the forefront of what could dramatically change the fine wine world forever. Offering security against fraud, plus adding value to the market with new crypto enthusiasts tapping into a market they might never had access to before.
Secondly, I suggested bringing investors to the Chateaux once a year. I was ecstatic when they offered to host us for a dinner, wine tasting plus spend a night in the Chateaux with our party! Many of them offered this without me even suggesting. What an opportunity to meet with investors in Bordeaux and take them on this amazing journey. These chateaux are not normally open to the public for private guests.
The pandemic has a put strain on many marriages, this could be a great opportunity for you to re kindle your marriage after a tiring three years of covid. Bordeaux is known as one of the most romantic destinations in the world. Drop us an email if you are interested in going. We can only take max 10 people per trip.
I also negotiated some amazing parcels of wines, with one of the largest negociant in Bordeaux. A long time partner. They will release to us privately without offering to the rest of the market over the next few months. I’ve had my investment team vet the prices and our research has shown they are below market value. These are direct from the Chateaux with perfect provenance. You can not buy a more perfect stock. Which will add tremendous value to your investment portfolio.
My focus now is to sell wines in your portfolio to make room for these new investments. They will be immediately in profit the minute you buy them. Because our margins are lower than any wine investment analyst in the world.
I did a full stock take in our Bordeaux warehouse and visited the UK warehouse. Both locations are working well, I can report things are going well.

Fine wine investment market performance:
The Bordeaux investment wines performed very well this month. Rhone Valley & Champagne took a dip. This balanced out the overall return with an increase of 0.81% for the month.
Pavie 2009 & Mouton 1989 had a great month with a 9% jump in price. Haut Brion 2019 which was a recent recommendation has already increased 4% in just a few months.
The current growth for all our valuations is 8% over 8 months which is a very healthy return & still 4 months of the year left.

Our portfolio management team have been selling some clients wines this month, but due to the growth spurt in the market, we have eased off selling aggressively for you to enjoy the growth in the wines currently invested.
What are the best investment wines to buy now?
Prices are difficult to negotiate lower than market price. Stock is limited, any stock requests or increases to your portfolio require around 2-4 weeks’ notice to find stock at the best price.
The Figures for August
This month’s valuations showed the Bordeaux market has increased by 1.01% for the month. Champagne and Rhone Valley wines have decreased -1.28%.
– 19.6% of the wines valued showed a positive return, while 27% showed a negative return and 55.4% remained the same.
– 81.5% of our portfolio is Bordeaux while 13.2% is Champagne and Rhone Valley, with Whisky investments & others make up 3.3%
– The overall change for ALL the wines valued this month was UP +0.81%
