As the New Year gets underway, we have seen an increased level of interest from the Asian market as buyers in China gear up for the opening of wine imports to China & Asian market post pandemic.


2023 is the year of the rabbit

If you are selling wine?

Sell only first growth wines from your portfolio at year end. Other regions tend to be slower at the end of a bad year for the economy.

The Figures for January

This month’s valuations showed the¬†Bordeaux market has decreased by -0.60%¬†for the month.¬†Champagne and Rhone Valley wines have increased by¬†0.61%.¬†

20.9% of the wines valued showed a positive return, while 39.9% showed a negative return and 41.2% remained the same.  
81.5% of our portfolio is Bordeaux while 13.2% is Champagne and Rhone Valley, with Whisky investments & others make up 3.3%

The overall change for ALL the wines valued this month was DOWN -0.49%
