Rothschild Champagne creates new fizz exclusively for the Ritz
Champagne Barons de Rothschild has made two exclusive Rothschild Champagne cuvées, which will be poured as the Ritz hotel in Mayfair’s house Champagnes from this month.
They will also be served to guests and residents at the Ritz Paris when it re-opens later this summer.
The new Ritz Reserve Brut and the 2008 Vintage Brut were unveiled at a tasting and dinner at the Ritz’s William Kent Room by Philippe Sereys de Rothschild, who is President of Champagne Barons de Rothschild.
Baron Philippe said, ‘They receive the same attention to quality and detail as all our other Champagnes.’
The Ritz Reserve Brut is a 50:50 assemblage of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Grand Cru vineyards, with a low dosage of six g/L and four years maturation on its lees. It will cost £19 by the glass and £94 by the bottle.
