Château Mouton Rothschild is famous for making fine tasting wines with consistent vintages being drank on many ocassions over a hundred years old, and their 82 hectares of vines in Bordeaux are said to be grown on some of the world’s best terroir.
The Market
We have been analysing and studying the market carefully and have seen the trading value of the 1990 vintage of this Mouton Rothschild increase in value from £750 to £1550 per case in just three years. This shows the potential of a wine of this quality.
Château Mouton Rothschild 1996 is described by the famous wine writer Gerber as ‘a wine of great distinction which is just beginning to open.’
Robert Parker, another famous wine critic, says that it is ‘fantastic for investment purposes as it will mature around 2007 all the way up to the year 2030.’ That means people are already searching for this wine to drink, so as it’s quantity is disappearing around the world we expect the price to follow as people are prepared to pay higher prices to get hold of it. Robert Parker went on to mark this wine with a very good rating of 94 points out of 100.
